BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 29. The fees of ten Azerbaijani leading insurance companies (ICs) totaled 238.6 million manat ($140.4 million), or 92.36 percent of the overall insurance fees in the first three months of 2022, Trend reports.
During the reporting period, PASHA Life topped the ranking in terms of premiums with 33.4 percent. The company's fees for this period reached 86.3 million manat ($50.79 million).
PASHA Insurance ranked second with a total premium of 85.3 million manat, or $50.2 million (33.03 percent of all fees), while Qala Insurance took third place with 17.7 million manat, or $10.4 million (6.85 percent).
The total fees of all insurance companies in the country from January through February 2022 amounted to 258.4 million manat ($152.09 million).
The Central Bank of Azerbaijan unveiled the results of insurance companies' activities for the reporting period.
