Azerbaijan names TOP-10 local insurance companies by payments

BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 22. The total payments of 10 Azerbaijani leading insurance companies amounted to 126.3 million manat ($74.29 million) or 93.85 percent of total insurance payments from January through April 2023, the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) told Trend.

According to the CBA, the list of top 10 companies in terms of payments was led by PASHA Life Insurance, which accounted for 46.63 percent of the total insurance payments of all companies. The company's payments in the reporting period totaled 62.76 million manat ($36.9 million).

PASHA Insurance, with total insurance payments of 24.1 million manat or $14.18 million (17.93 percent of all payments), ranked second, and Xalq Insurance, with payments of 8.27 million manat or $4.86 million (6.15 percent) - third.

Total payments of all insurance companies of Azerbaijan in the reporting period amounted to 134.6 million manat ($79.18 million).
