Azerbaijan, Baku, 11 July/ Trend / President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has decreed to take additional measures to expand TV broadcasting within the country and to insure security of the air space.
The decree says that the speedy development and large scale introduction of electronic means of mass media in Azerbaijan for the last years has provided a favorable condition for the establishment of new information systems and updating TV broadcasting technology.
According to decree, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies is allocated AZN2.5mln from the 2008 public budget by the Reserve Fund of President of Azerbaijan to expand TV broadcasting and insuring information security of the air space.
The Ministry of Finance was instructed to allot these funds.
