UzCard, Lithuanian company ink deal on banking software

Lithuania’s ASHBURN International, which specializes in solutions for managing and monitoring networks of POS terminals, has signed a long-term strategic partnership agreement with the National Processing Center of Uzbekistan UzCard, Uzbek media reported.

Within the framework of the signed agreement, which will be valid for at least 10 years, ASHBURN International will install the software developed by the company - TransLink.iQ, adapted for the Uzbek market.

An agreement was also reached on supply of new payment terminals and sale of over 250,000 licenses for POS terminals administered by UzCard, which belong to 28 banks in Uzbekistan.

UzCard predicts that within a few years over 50,000 POS terminals will be connected to the TransLink.iQ platform.

TransLink.iQ solution is designed in accordance with the requirements of international payment systems and the highest security standards, which guarantees reliable protection of cardholder data.

The software and hardware provided by the company are certified and comply with the requirements of the EMV standard of international organizations VISA International, MasterCard Incorporated, American Express, Diners Club International, JCB and UnionPay International.
