Uzbekistan and Poland agreed to continue work on the introduction of advanced technologies of the Polish Świat Przesyłek (World of parcels) into the postal service of Uzbekistan, Trend reports citing Dunyo information agency.

Polish investors are interested in the development of all areas in the economy and the social sphere of Uzbekistan. In particular, one of the leading companies in this field, Świat Przesyłek, expressed interest in working on the country's postal market.

During a meeting in Tashkent, General Director and owner of the Polish express mail company Peter Koson with First Deputy Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade Laziz Kudratov, General Director of Uzbekiston Postal Service JSC Alisher Fayzullayev discussed the issue of investing in opening a representative office in Uzbekistan.

The heads of the Uzbek departments supported the initiative of the Polish company to open a representative office in Uzbekistan.

Koson expressed his readiness to invest in the opening of a network of express parcels in Uzbekistan and to allocate at least $5 million for this project.

The parties noted the need to turn this industry into a sphere that generates income through Internet trade, opening branches of international carrier companies in the regions.

An important element of the company's development is the IT services for receiving domestic and international orders. The company provides a wide range of services in this area.

The parties agreed to exchange relevant documentation and continue work on the introduction of advanced technologies of the Świat Przesyłek into the postal service of Uzbekistan.

Świat Przesyłek has been operating on the Polish and international markets since 2013 and is constantly expanding its portfolio with new logistics solutions - postal and express courier services.

The company operates in 42 countries of the world and has created an improved version of the logistics structure for the distribution of consolidated international shipments directly in the recipient country, bypassing unnecessary transshipment warehouses.
