Azerbaijan's satellite operator discloses revenues for Jan.2021

The revenues of Azerbaijan's Azercosmos OJSC from the export of satellite and telecommunications services amounted to $1.92 million in January 2021, Trend reports citing the Export Review of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) of Azerbaijan.

According to the center, Azercosmos' profit from the export of the mentioned services accounted for 84 percent of the space operator's total income.

Azercosmos rendered the services to 21 countries, including the UK, the US, France, Turkey, Pakistan, and the UAE in the reporting month.

The company exported its services worth $3.8 million to 23 countries in December 2020.

Azercosmos OJSC operates two communication satellites - Azerspace-1 and Azerspace-2, as well as the low-orbit satellite - Azersky.

The company's revenues from the export of satellite and telecommunications services in 2020 amounted to $45.1 million, which is 4 percent more compared to 2019.
