The Barama Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center through the support of the Innovation Agency and Azercell has launched an incubation program on six local start-up projects, coordinator of the center Zaur Unsizade told Trend on March 16.

“The Barama Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center creates all the necessary conditions for local start-up creators, helps to attract foreign direct investments to the projects, both from investors and venture capital funds and also contributes to their entry into the world markets,” Unsizade added.

"The Stubie startup project is a platform that unites people interested in studying abroad,” coordinator of the center said. “A person who wants to study at a foreign university can receive appropriate recommendations through this platform. And those who already have foreign education can earn by making consultations."

“The SpenDonate platform is designed for donations,” Unsizade said. “Users of this project get the opportunity to earn cashbacks from purchases, which can later be donated to certain funds.”

"Another our important project is the Ziyas platform,” the coordinator said. “This aggregator brings together passengers and transport companies. This project is valid at the international level and makes it easier to obtain transport services abroad (bus schedules, routes, and so on)."

The coordinator said that the center has developed a platform for drivers - Bardachok.

"This project is aimed at the timely maintenance of the car,” Unsizade said. “After the introduction of certain data, the application will notify in the future about the necessary repair work."

The GloryCare project, which allows to find the best beauty salon, and the DoctOnline platform, which united the best medical personnel in the country, were developed in Azerbaijan.

"Through this project, doctors, consultants and other health workers, having passed the registration procedure, will be able to start rendering services, and users can easily call a doctor at home or get an online consultation," Unsizade said.

All these projects are supervised by the Azerbaijan Innovation Agency while the sponsor is the biggest mobile communication operator - Azercell.
