BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 2. Incomes of Azerbaijan’s Azercosmos OJSC from the export of satellite and telecommunication services in 1Q2022 amounted to $6.2 million, Trend reports citing "Export Review" of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications of Azerbaijan.

The share of export of services in total income of the company amounted to 86 percent in specified period.

Azercosmos OJSC exported satellite and telecommunication services to the UK ($1.6 million), France ($1.1 million), Luxembourg ($1.1 million), the UAE ($600,000) and Pakistan ($400,000) during the reporting period.

Company exported services to 30 countries in total for $2.1 million in March 2022.

Company owns two communication satellites - Azerspace-1 and Azerspace-2, also low-orbit satellite Azersky.

The income of Azercosmos OJSC from the export of satellite and telecommunications services amounted to $45.3 million in 2021, which is $200,000 million more than in 2020.
