Azerbaijan ranked sixth among 23 most affordable travel destinations for tourists from Russia, according to the rating of Skyscanner, a global travel search site.
According to the rating, a two-week trip to Azerbaijan for two people will cost travelers from Russia $1,616 ($426 accounts for the cost of the flight).
Skyscanner experts estimated that two tourists from Russia will spend $85 in average daily in Azerbaijan. Of this amount, about $35 will be spent on housing, $32 on food and $18 on entertainment.
Travel and stay in Azerbaijan turned out to be cheaper than in Hungary, Kazakhstan, Poland, Vietnam, Bulgaria, Portugal, Montenegro and other countries.
Belarus is the cheapest travel destination for tourists from Russia. Travelling to Belarus will cost $1,358 for them.
