Iran discloses data of exports via Astara port

About 11,000 tons of goods were exported through the Astara port in the Gilan Province (northern Iran) in the 9th month of the current Iranian year (November 21 through December 20, 2020), Trend reports citing the statistics of the Iranian Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO).

“Furthermore, 4,370 tons of goods were imported through this port over the reporting month,” the statistics said.

According to the statistics, a total of 20,100 tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in the Astara port within the ninth month. Of this, 14,100 were loaded and 5,980 tons were unloaded.

In the 9th month, 3,200 tons of goods were loaded and 1,600 tons were unloaded for transit through the Astara port, the statistics said.

“Thus, 2,170 tons of essential products, 4,300 tons of construction and mining materials, 4,930 tons of chemicals, 33 tons of leather products, clothing, wood materials, paper, and so on, 41 tons of small and assorted products, 1,460 tons of container products, 3,200 tons of crude oil and oil products were loaded and unloaded in the Astara port in the 9th month,” the statistics said.

In total, 9.13 million tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in Iranian ports in the 9th month of the current Iranian year (November 21 through December 20, 2020). Of this, 5.5 million tons were loaded and 3.62 million tons were unloaded.
