Thus, export customs duties for entrepreneurs and private companies operating in Turkmenistan will be canceled in Turkmenistan from January 1, 2022.

In particular, customs duties on goods exported outside the territory of Turkmenistan, in addition to hand luggage of individuals, are being canceled.

Also, contracts related to the export of goods and products manufactured by entrepreneurs and private companies, as well as the export of goods purchased from entrepreneurs and private companies (raw materials), can be concluded by participating or not participating in exchange trading.

Turkmenistan is working to improve the transport sector and customs system.

One of the indicators of the development of the transport sector in the country is the commissioning of Kazakhstan–Turkmenistan-Iran railway along the North-South line, the Lapis-Lazuli Transit, Trade & Transport Route, and other projects that create conditions for international transport, ensuring the delivery of goods and cargo.

The growth of supplies, improving the relationship between customs and transport spheres is becoming one of the important areas in the country. Thus, the work in this direction is mainly aimed at improving the customs infrastructure and simplifying procedures related to international transport.
