BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 16. The number of domestic flights (passenger planes only) via Iranian airports decreased by 6.45 percent in the first five months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through August 22, 2023), compared to the same period last year, Trend reports.
More than 110,000 domestic flights were carried out from Iranian airports in 5 months, according to data from the Iran Airports and Air Navigation Company (IAC).
Meanwhile, the figure stood at over 117,000 in the same period last Iranian year.
