Kazakhstan, Germany FMs discuss cooperation

German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle discussed cooperation with his Kazakh counterpart Yerzhan Kazykhanov during a visit to Kazakhstan, the Kazakh Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday.
"Today, we discussed a wide range of issues on multilateral cooperation, regional and international security," Kazykhanov said at a press conference after the meeting.
The parties also discussed the situation in Afghanistan, the crisis in Syria and the problem around the Iranian nuclear program.
Kazykhanov praised the results of bilateral negotiations.
The Kazakh FM also said 85 percent of the total foreign trade of Germany with Central Asia accounted for Kazakhstan.
Kazykhanov expressed hope that the establishment of trust and partnership between Kazakhstan and Germany will be further strengthened.
