Chairman of Senate of Kazakh Parliament Kairat Mami received Turkish Ambassador to Kazakhstan Omer Burhan Tuzel.
At the meeting Mami congratulated Tuzel on his appointment and wished him success in diplomatic activity.
Stressing the dynamic development of bilateral Kazakh-Turkish relations, Mami said President Nazarbayev's official visit to Turkey scheduled for October 2012 will be an additional impetus to the strengthening of multilateral relations between the two countries".
The parties also stood for further strengthening of inter-parliamentary dialogue. In this regard, Mami said that Turkish Majlis Chairman Cemil Cicek will pay an official visit to Kazakhstan in late September 2012.
Tuzel emphasized the role of Kazakh and Turkish leaders "in the successful fulfillment of the priorities of bilateral cooperation, an important part of which is inter-parliamentary relations".
