Global economic issues to be discussed in Kazakhstan

Astana will host the VI Astana Economic Forum in May, the Kazakh Agency for Protection of Competition said today.
According to the information, the forum will be held from May 22-24. Around 8,500 delegates from 100 countries will attend it.
The Kazakh government and the Eurasian Economic Club of Scientists are the organizers of the event.
The Astana Economic Forum is an international platform is conducted with the support and the active participation of Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev.
"Typical representatives of the forum are presidents and heads of governments, prominent political and public figures, heads of international organizations and business corporations, leading scientists and Nobel Prize winners, as well as representatives of the global media," a statement said.
The Kazakh Agency for the Protection of Competition plans to hold a round table on "Development and transformation of the economy through the prism of fair competition" for the first time within this forum.
"Members of the International Competition Network, international experts, as well as state officials, business leaders and entrepreneurs are expected to be the main participants of the round table," a statement said.
