BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 8. All Kazakhstanis should have basic sales skills, Vice Minister of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan Asel Zhanassova said, while speaking at the electronic commerce forum in Nur-Sultan, Trend reports via Kazakh media.

"Kazakhstan will start with the Wholesale Trade Academy, For example, entrepreneurs can't invest 1 million tenge ($2,000) in creating their own site, its support and data storage. Let's ensure that the state gives such opportunities and basic skill to small and medium-sized businesses for free. Whatever your specialty, you need to be able to sell your services and goods. These are basic skills that should be acquired not only by adults working but also from school. Everyone should learn these skills," she stated.

Zhanassova stressed that the ministry sets a goal to create a common infrastructure, the right policy and conditions for electronic commerce. All participants in this process must sell online, make payments and deliver goods without barriers.

"Kazakhstan sees a great increase in BC2 retail trade field. However, unfortunately, there is still a problem with B2B wholesale trade on the market - it doesn't catch up with the growth rate of B2C trade. It is clear that we have large platforms like Kaspi, Flip, Wildberries, Ozon, which have entered Kazakhstan's market and become drivers of great retail growth, but nevertheless Kazakhstan doesn't have enough participants who could give the same growth rate in terms of wholesale trade," she added.
