ASTANA, Kazakhstan, October 30. The total volume of hydrocarbon processing at KazMunayGas (KMG, the national oil and gas company of Kazakhstan) enterprises remained virtually unchanged compared to the same period in 2022 and amounted to 14.9 million tons, Trend reports.
According to the company, the volume of hydrocarbon processing at Kazakh refineries decreased by 0.4 percent and amounted to 10.774 million tons.
A decrease in refining occurred at the Shymkent Oil Refinery due to the shutdown of the enterprise in July of this year for repairs.
The volume of processing at KMG International plants (Petromidia, Vega) in Romania increased by 1 percent and amounted to 4.127 million tons.
KazMunayGas (KMG), Kazakhstan’s oil and gas company, increased its oil and gas condensate production volume over the first nine months of 2023, surpassing the data from last year's same period by nine percent. Thus, the production of oil and gas condensate amounted to 17.508 million tons (483,000 barrels per day).
The production volume of natural and associated gas in the reporting period of 2023 increased by 17.9 percent year-on-year to over 7 billion cubic meters.
