ASTANA, Kazakhstan, January 19. The volume of Kebco-branded oil exports from Kazakhstan under the Kebco brand to India in 2023 amounted to 4,500 barrels per day, Trend reports.
According to Argus Media, a leading independent provider of market intelligence for the global energy and commodity markets, oil supplies to India from Russia at the end of 2023 increased by more than 2.3 times in annual terms, to 1.75 million barrels per day.
This volume also takes into account the volumes of oil from Kazakhstan producers. Thus, in 2023, almost 128,000 barrels per day of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium mixture were exported to India, mainly from the resources of Russian companies, plus a separate export of 4,500 b/d of Kazakh Kebco to India.
Meanwhile, in 2023, oil production in Kazakhstan amounted to about 90 million tons, although it was initially planned to produce 92–93 million tons of oil.
About 18 million tons of oil produced in 2023 were for the domestic market, the rest for export. Some 56 million tons were exported through the Caspian Pipeline Consortium.
The volume of oil production in 2022 in Kazakhstan amounted to 84.2 million tons, or 101.6 percent of the planned figure.
Oil exports in 2022 reached 64.3 million tons, or 103.4 percent of the plan.
