During the meeting, a wide range of topics related to Tajik-Pakistani relations were addressed, particularly in the areas of economics, civil aviation, security, and military cooperation.
The two sides exchanged views on the current military-political, economic, and social situation in Afghanistan, which directly impacts regional security.
It was emphasized that Pakistan highly values the effective efforts of Tajikistan's leadership in promoting peace and stability in the region.
CASA-1000 is an infrastructure initiative aimed at transmitting 1,300 megawatts of surplus electricity from Central Asian countries, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, to meet the electricity demands in South Asian countries, specifically Afghanistan and Pakistan.
The project involves upgrading the electrical grids in these participating nations through the construction of new substations and high-voltage power transmission lines.
