The number of issued VISA and MasterCard cards is being increased in Turkmenistan, the Turkmen Central Bank said.
According to the message, it is possible to pay for study abroad via those cards.
"While carrying out all kinds of non-cash payments, it is possible to get cash via those cards at any convenient time through an ATM," the message said.
“It is possible to purchase books, training materials and other goods via the Internet by using those cards,” the message said.
The citizens will be able to replenish the bank card account in accordance with the amount of salary or transfer money via Western Union and MoneyGram in the amount of $1,000 monthly.
