BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 18. Livestock farms located in the Balkan region of Turkmenistan have fulfilled a plan to obtain offspring, Trend reports with reference to Jeyhun News.
This year the livestock farm received 828 camels for which strict veterinary control has been established. In the places where the offspring are kept, the duty of experienced livestock breeders is organized.
At the same time, the number of camel farms is growing in the country. Basically, they breed single-humped Arvan camels.
Agriculture is an important part of Turkmenistan's economy. Work is being carried out to develop animal husbandry, increase the number of livestock, produce meat and dairy products, strengthen the feed base of the industry, and the improvement of local livestock enterprises continues.
