BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 17. Yenish livestock farm of the Mary region in the south-east of Turkmenistan has fulfilled a plan for breeding small cattle, Trend reports with reference to Jeyhun News.

The livestock farm of 35,700 sheep received an offspring of more than 32,400 lambs. The reason for the good offspring was that during the cold season the animals were transferred to stable maintenance and provision with a variety of feeds.

All animals are under the control of veterinarians, and in the places where they are kept, the duty of livestock breeders is organized.

Furthermore, earlier breeders of the Balkan region of Turkmenistan out of 48,500 sheep received offspring of more than 44,200 lambs.

Agriculture is an important part of Turkmenistan's economy. Work is being carried out to develop animal husbandry, increase the number of livestock, manufacture meat and dairy products, strengthen the feed base of the industry, and the improvement of local livestock enterprises continues.
