BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 5. Businessmen of Afghanistan purchased liquefied gas during trading on January 4 at the State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange of Turkmenistan, Trend reports citing Orient news.
Entrepreneurs from Afghanistan purchased over 5,000 tons of liquefied gas on the exchange at a price of $485 per ton. The total amount of the transaction was $2.4 million.
At the same time, according to the exchange, on December 29, entrepreneurs from Afghanistan purchased 5,000 tons of diesel fuel on the Turkmen exchange for a total amount of $4.8 million.
The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important body of state regulation of export-import operations.
