ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, August 24. Atadjan Movlamov, Ambassador of Turkmenistan and Dean of the Diplomatic Corps in Islamabad, has held courtesy meetings with Alexandra Berg Von Linde, the Swedish ambassador, and Mary O’Neill, the newly appointed Irish ambassador to the country, Trend reports via the Turkmen embassy in Pakistan.

During their separate meetings, both ambassadors were introduced to the activities of the Diplomatic Corps in Islamabad. Ambassador Movlamov provided an overview of regional energy projects, highlighting their significance for economic development and regional prosperity.

Ambassador O’Neill, who recently presented her credentials to Pakistan's President Asif Ali Zardari, expressed appreciation for Turkmenistan’s leadership in these critical initiatives. She also commended the efforts to contribute positively to the region’s economic landscape.

The discussions between Ambassador Movlamov and Ambassador O’Neill extended to broader regional and international issues, reflecting a shared interest in understanding and enhancing diplomatic and economic ties.
