The enterprise for the production of concrete products on the territory of Nurafshon city in the Tashkent region will begin production of products tentatively at the end of March after the completion of installation work, Trend reports citing Dunyo information agency.
As part of the implementation of the tasks of attracting investments to Uzbekistan, the Embassy in the Benelux countries held a video conference on February 22 with the general director of the Dutch company Lumidea Engineering, Eshref Ozshakhin.
It is reported that Dutch Lumidea Engineering is setting up an enterprise for the production of concrete products in the territory of Nurafshon in the Tashkent region.
During the conversation, the Dutch side noted that the project is being carried out in accordance with the planned schedule. Thus, the customs clearance of a part of the equipment delivered by six trucks has been completed. Currently, the customs clearance of the incoming batch is being carried out.
According to Eshref Ozshakhin, the total cost of equipment imported to Uzbekistan for the production of concrete products is $300,000.
The company's specialists said that the production capacity of the enterprise will amount to about 20,000 units of products per day (thermal insulation finishing materials, concrete slabs, curbs, paving stones, and others).
In addition, more than 10 new jobs will be created at the enterprise. It was noted that the products will be based on innovative technologies that combine environmental friendliness and thermal insulation based on expanded clay.
According to the information, the enterprise will start production preliminary at the end of March after the completion of installation work.
