Uzbekistan and Hungary exchanged views on the creation and development of a system of pedigree poultry farming in Uzbekistan, Trend reports referring to the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Hungary.

Ambassador of Uzbekistan Abat Fayzullayev held a meeting with Vice-President of the Hungarian Agricultural Chamber, President of Hungarian Meat Alliance Association Tamas Eder in order to discuss issues of expanding cooperation, attracting investments and transferring Hungarian technological processes to the poultry industry in Uzbekistan.

Eder noted with satisfaction the growing dynamics of Hungarian-Uzbek cooperation in the economic sphere, in particular in the food industry, agro-industry, livestock and poultry farming, using the best practices of Hungary.

Also, the Hungarian side highly appreciated the measures taken in Uzbekistan to develop poultry farming. Eder acknowledged that the practical assistance provided by the state to this sector, including the recent decision to subsidize the sector, will certainly lead to the further development of this sector.

He also noted that the issue of land allocation is one of the important factors in attracting new investors to the country, and in this regard, the adoption of a decree in this direction is a timely, effective measure that meets all market requirements.

In addition, an agreement was reached to hold a presentation soon for all member companies of the Hungarian Agricultural Chamber in order to attract their investments in the poultry industry of Uzbekistan. Issues of organizing a visit of the delegation of the Chamber to our country in the near future were discussed.
