The volume of transactions concluded at the Republican Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Uzbekistan in 2021 increased by 63.3 percent compared to 2020 (53.4 trillion soums, or $4.9 billion), reaching 87.3 trillion soums ($7.7 billion), Trend reports via the exchange.
During this period, the volume of transactions concluded at exchange auctions accounted for 74.4 trillion soums ($6.9 billion), which is an increase of 60 percent compared to 2020 (46.5 trillion soums, or $4.3 billion).
At the exhibition and auctions in 2021, transactions in amount of 1.4 trillion soums ($138.9 million) were concluded.
For the corresponding period, state purchases at the commodity and raw materials exchange increased by 2.5 times in comparison to 2020 (4.3 trillion soums, or $400.2 million), reaching 11 trillion soums ($1 billion).
The average cost of a deal in public procurement in 2021 worth 10.9 million soums ($1,013), which is an increase of 91.2 percent compared to 2020 (5.7 million soums, or $530).
