Iran Materials 9 December 2010 13:50 (UTC +04:00)

Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki has proposed to the third Bali Democracy Forum (BDF) the establishment of a center for joint global management, Press TV reported.

"As people of a country should make decisions about internal affairs, decisions on international issues should be made through management and consultation among all countries," Mottaki said in an address to the BDF in Indonesian city of Bali on Thursday, IRNA reported.

He criticized as "unacceptable" the notion that few powers dictate their decisions for important multinational bodies and said, "These powers make every move to deprive other countries of their rights."

The third summit of the BDF began in Bali on Thursday in presence of representatives from 30 countries.

The main aim of the forum is at discussing ways to expand regional cooperation in political fields, promote democracy in the region and achieve economic development.

On the sidelines of the BDF, the top Iranian diplomat is scheduled to hold talks with top officials attending the forum.
