A 24-year-old Iranian student of a university in America has been killed due to injuries he sustained in a hit-and-run incident in the US city of Denver.
The Iranian University of Denver graduate student, identified as Masoud Bahrami Sharif, was hit by an SUV near the campus of the university at about 8:45 pm local time on Thursday.
The victim, according to the police, had been walking his bicycle when the car hit him after running a red light. The driver immediately fled the scene following the accident.
Bahrami Sharif was then taken to the Denver Health Medical Center where he died on Friday. Police has said an investigation into the case is underway but no arrests have been made yet.
