MP: Kidnapped Iranian pilgrims in good health
Head of Iranian Majlis (Parliament) National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Alaeddin Boroujerdi said that the Iranian pilgrims kidnapped in Syria are reportedly in good health, IRNA reported.
Boroujerdi made the remarks at a press conference in Damascus on Sunday and after his meetings with Syrian officialsş
"The statements of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad regarding the efforts underway for securing the release of Iranians are harbinger of good news for Iranians," the lawmaker added.
Boroujerdi is being accompanied by several other lawmakers during his two-day visit to Syria
