A senior Iranian nuclear official Abbas Araqchi says the negotiations over Iran's nuclear energy program in Geneva will put to test the "political will" of the six major world powers, Press TV reported.
"The Geneva talks will be a measure to test the P5+1 group and in these negotiations the level of their political will to reach a resolution will be put to test," said Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for International and Legal Affairs Araqchi on Wednesday.
Iran and the six powers -- the United States, China, Russia, France, and Britain plus Germany - are set to meet for a second round of nuclear discussions in Geneva, Switzerland, on November 7-8. The two sides held two days of closed-door talks on Tehran's nuclear case in the Swiss city on October 15-16.
