Iranian Army's Ground Forces unveiled its latest weapons and equipment,Iran's ISNA news agency reported on April 20.
Iranian Ground Force Commander, Brigadier General Ahmad Reza Pourdastan attended the unveiling ceremony.
Moharram six-barrel machine gun, Sabalan main battle tank, a smart composite armor, Hoveyzeh 155mm cannon, and Zoljanah heavy duty tactical truck were on display at the event.
Moharram machine gun has 50 caliber and high fire rate.
The Iranian Army also unveiled its latest three new telecommunications, air defense and simulator achievements on April 19, Press TV reported.
Fadak walkie-talkie, Sahand-3 multiple rocket launcher and T-72 Tank simulator were put on display at the event on April 19.
All three equipments have been designed and manufactured by Iranian experts, according to Brigadier General Seyyed Masoud Reza Zavarei, the head of the Army Ground Forces research and self-sufficiency body.
Iran unveiled a number of indigenous military equipment, including a stealth unmanned aerial vehicle, two missile systems and a mobile electronic interception system on April 17, on the occasion of the country's Army Day.
Over the past years, Iran has made important breakthroughs in its defense sector and attained self-sufficiency in producing important military equipment and systems.
Iran's Deputy Defense Minister Brigadier General Majid Bokaei earlier said that the Islamic Republic has successfully test-fired a land-to-sea ballistic missile in the Persian Gulf.
He noted that the missile was a modified model of a surface-to-surface missile.
