Production output of Iran's Pardis petrochemical company increases

BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 2. The production of Iran's Pardis Petrochemical Company increased by 7.3 percent during the first 3 months of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through June 2024) compared to the same period last year (from March 21 through June 21, 2023), the statement of Iran's Pardis Petrochemical Company said, Trend reports.

The company's production for the 3 months amounted to about 1.46 million tons. However, for the same period last year, the company's production amounted to 1.36 million tons.

The production of urea by the company amounted to about 887,000 tons for 3 months. This is 7.8 percent more than in the same period last year. Thus, for the same period last year, the company produced about 823,000 tons of urea.

Furthermore, the company's ammonia production amounted to 568,000 tons over 3 months. Compared to the same period last year, the company's ammonia production increased by 6.5 percent. In the same period last year, the company's ammonia production amounted to 533,000 tons.

However, it should be noted that Iran's Pardis Petrochemical Company produces more than 2.04 million tons of ammonia and more than 3.22 million tons of urea annually.

The Pardis Petrochemical Company's 8,000 shares are owned by Qadir Investment Company, 1.23 million by Sepahan Hamun Management Services Company, 40.3 million by Sepahan Hamun Investment Company, 894 million by Petrochemical Trading Company, 4.12 billion by Parsian Oil and Gas Company and the rest is owned by other shareholders.
