BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 14. Iran's economic development will further accelerate with the expansion of international ties, the Iranian Vice President Mohammad-Jafar Ghaempanah said in a meeting with businessmen in Kermanshah province in western Iran on April 14, Trend reports.
According to him, the current Iranian government is taking effective steps for the development of the country.
"To eliminate the existing problem in Iran's foreign policy, our side is holding coherent talks with the US. Iran will succeed in the field of diplomacy very shortly," he noted.
On April 12, indirect talks between Iran and the US on Iran’s nuclear program were held in Muscat, Oman. The discussions, led by Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi and the US Special Representative for Middle East Affairs, Steve Winkoff, were described as constructive and based on mutual respect. The next round of talks is scheduled for April 19.
