Kazakhstan takes bold steps to localize pharma sector with major funding

Kazakhstan is reviewing several investment projects aimed at localizing pharmaceutical production, with nearly $700 million set to boost the country’s domestic industry. The Ministry of Health aims to increase the share of locally produced medicines and medical devices to 50 percent by 2029.
