Iran’s total exports, including oil export, will increase from $102.2 billion in the current fiscal year (started March 21, 2016) to about $132.7 billion in the fiscal year to March 2022, the International Monetary Fund forecasts.
According to a report published on IMF’s website, Iran’s imports will increase from $79.4 billion in the current fiscal year to $120.1 billion in the fiscal year to March 2022.
A quarter of Iran’s export growth is forecast to account for oil export growth, which will increase from $67.4 billion in the current fiscal year to $74.9 billion in the fiscal year to March 2022.
In total, Iran’s foreign trade turnover will increase by 40 percent to $253 billion form March 2016 to March 2022.
