Int'l finance firm to invest 22B euros in Iran

An international business company plans to provide 22 billion euro of financing for development of Iran’s infrastructure sector.

VNS, a combination of international business companies which provide financial facilities, will invest 22 billion euros in Iran’s road projects in the form of finance, Mohammad Taqi Norouzi, the VNS representative in Iran, said, IRNA news agency reported May 30.

“The loans will be allocated in the form of finance agreements to the projects introduced by the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development or provincial authorities,” Norouzi, added.

He made the remarks during a meeting with provincial financial and economic officials in this north-western province of West Azerbaijan.

VNS is a combination of international business companies which provide financial facilities of more than 50 billion euros to help develop infrastructure and construction projects in other countries.
