The overhaul has been launched at the gasoline production plant of Iran's Isfahan Oil Company for the first time, Alireza Gazvinizade, director of the company’s department for repair issues, said.

“In accordance with the forecasts, the overhaul will last 22 days,” Gazvinizade added, Trend reports referring to the company’s website.

The director added that the efforts are being made to reduce this time by efficient using workforce and equipment.

"Some 1,500 workers are involved in overhaul of the plant," Gazvinizade said.

The plant was commissioned in February 2016. Presently, the company refines 375,000 barrels of crude oil daily. This company ensures about 22 percent of Iran's gasoline needs.
