Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan has dismissed the head of the Special Investigation Service (SIS) Andranik Mirzoyan, 1in.am reported.
The reasons for his dismissal remain unknown, but according to the talk that has been circulating, the move is connected with some SIS activities. Serzh Sargsyan had mentioned some issues, but the SIS did not pay due attention to them.
It should be mentioned that Andranik Mirzoyan was appointed the head of the SIS on December 7, 2007. His name is largely associated with the events of 1 March 2, 2008, as the criminal proceedings in connection with these events were managed by the SIS.
