Tamar Beruchashvili will execute the duties of the first deputy foreign minister, according to the decree of the Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, posted Nov. 7 on the government's website.
The PM previously signed decrees dismissing the Foreign Minister Maia Panjikidze and State Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Alexi Petriashvili.
Panjikidze and Petriashvili announced their resignation after Garibashvili dismissed the Defense Minister Irakli Alasania. The decree on Alasania's dismissal was signed the same day.
After Panjikidze her first deputy, Davit Zalkaliani, resigned as well.
Earlier, Beruchashvili also announced about her resignation, along with the ex-minister, but later changed her mind to leave the office.
This decision was taken after talk with the prime minister, she later told reporters.
