The Organisation of the Islamic Conference (OIC) on Tuesday said it strongly condemned the use of violence against civilians in Libya, saying it goes against Islamic values, DPA reported.
The OIC said it considered the violence against protesters in Libya "a humanitarian disaster incompatible with Islamic and human values."
The OIC, which has 57 member states and is headquartered in Saudi Arabia, urged Libyan authorities to immediately stop the use of violence against anti-government protesters.
