Four policemen killed west of Baghdad
Four Iraqi policemen were killed in an attack targeting their patrol west of Baghdad on Sunday, a security source said.
A group of armed men opened fire on a police patrol and seized their cars before escaping the scene in Falluja, 60 kilometres west of the capital, DPA reported.
Violence in Iraq had steadily dropped after Sunni-Shiite bloodshed peaked in 200. But bombings and attacks are now becoming a nearly daily event again, with many targeting security personnel across the country.
