Ekaterine Tkeshelashvili Accuses Russia In Provocative Acts

Ekaterine Tkeshelashvili, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, accuses Russia in provocative acts, reported PNA.

Tkeshelashvili stated at the briefing that Russia tried to transfer attention of international community from peaceful plans of government of Georgia to those provocative acts.

The Minister confirmed the fact of attack against Georgian policemen in Kodori gorge and violation of Georgian air space by Russian aircrafts and was indignant with this issue.

"These facts are not separate cases but part of one chain," she underlined.

Tkeshelashvili hopes that international community that supported peaceful plans of Georgia will support them in future as their carrying out will lead to "positive results in the process of peace establishment".

She reminded about decisions of the Russian authorities that were as a matter of fact plan of annexation of Georgia.

Ekaterine Tkeshelashvili underlined that all these provocative acts were in the interests of Russia itself.
