Bomb blast in bus in southern Philippines

A bomb ripped through a passenger bus in the southern Philippines on Monday, injuring an undetermined number of people, police said.

The bus was parked at a public transport terminal in Digos City, Davao Del Sur province, 1,005 kilometres south of Manila, when the explosion occurred.

Chief Inspector Anthony Padua, city police chief, said it was the second bomb attack on the bus company since last month, when two people were killed in a bombing, reported dpa
