The crisis at the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) led to the resignation of two top news chiefs Monday, the organization reported.
Helen Boaden, the BBC's director of news, and her deputy, Stephen Mitchell, stepped down after the broadcaster apologized for having wrongly accused a former top politician of child abuse, dpa reported.
