France’s embassy and cultural institute in the Burkina Faso capital are no longer in danger after gunmen launched an attack earlier on Friday, an aide to Foreign Minister Jean-Yves le Drian said, Reuters reports.
“The French diplomatic buildings are under control,” told Reuters in a text message.
