Turkey's Central Bank increased its 2014 year-end inflation forecast to 8.9 percent from 7.6 percent in its latest quarterly report, Governor Erdem Basci said today Hurriyet Daily News
The inflation forecast for 2015 was increased to a midpoint of 6.1 percent from 5 percent in the previous report.
The Bank's medium term inflation forecast remained at 6 percent, Basci added.
The Central Bank will keep monetary policy tight until there is a clear improvement in inflation, he noted.
