In February 2019, 218 companies with Iranian and Russian capital were registered in Turkey, which is 114 more compared to February 2018, Trend reports referring to the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB).
The total capital of companies with Iranian and Russian capital registered in February 2019 amounted to 25,533 million liras, while in February 2018 this figure was 6.865 million liras.
In February 2019, 200 companies with Iranian capital were registered in Turkey, which is 113 more compared to February 2018. The total capital of Iranian companies registered in February 2019 amounted to 23.041 million liras.
As TOBB noted, in February 2019, the largest number of companies with Iranian capital was registered in Istanbul (159).
In February 2019, in Turkey, among the companies with Iranian capital, the largest number of companies was registered in wholesale and retail, whose total capital amounted to 8.282 million liras.
Also, in February 2019, 18 companies with Russian capital were registered in Turkey, which is one company more compared to February 2018.
The total capital of Russian companies registered in February 2019 amounted to 2.492 million liras.
In February 2019, in Turkey, the largest number of companies with Russian capital were registered in the sectors of wholesale and retail (8), whose total capital amounted to 291,500 liras.
In February 2019 the largest number of companies with Russian capital was registered in Istanbul (9).
Moreover, in February 2019, 6,670 companies were registered in Turkey as a whole, which is 5.64 percent less compared to the same month of 2018.
The total capital of companies registered in Turkey in February 2019 amounted to 4, 946 billion liras.
