Turkey’s export of grains, legumes to China drops

Turkey’s export of grains and legumes to China dropped by 17.4 percent in 2019 compared to 2018 and amounted to $37.1 million, Turkey’s Ministry of Trade told Trend on Jan. 30.

In December 2019, export of grain and legumes from Turkey to China increased by 25.3 percent compared to December 2018, and exceeded $3.1 million.

In 2019, Turkey’s export of grains and legumes increased by 1.6 percent compared to 2018, amounting to $6.7 billion.

In December 2019, export of grain and legumes from Turkey increased by 5.9 percent compared to December 2018 and amounted to $628.8 million.
