The export of cars from Turkey to global markets decreased by 20.9 percent from January through October 2020, compared to the same period of 2019, amounting to $20 billion, the Turkish Ministry of Trade told Trend.
As reported, exports of the Turkish car accounted for 14.8 percent of the country's total exports for the reporting period.
In October 2020, Turkey exported cars worth $2.91 billion to international markets, which is 3.7 percent more compared to the same month of 2019, the ministry said.
Turkey’s car exports from Turkey in October 2020 accounted for 16.8 percent of the country's total exports.
Over the past 12 months (from October 2019 through October 2020), Turkey exported cars worth $25.2 billion, the ministry said.
